The Ultimate Diet Doesn’t Exist!

… So stop wasting all your money.

There are three things that you need to know.

  1. You are what you eat
  2. Eat less
  3. Move more

Want to lose weight, follow those steps.

If you’re looking for a tested and proven 100% free workout check out the following 5BX workout plan as used by the Royal Canadian Airforce: https://archive.org/details/Royl_Canadian_Air_Force_Exercise_Plans_

You can also buy it for not a lot here: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Physical-Fitness-11-minute—day-12-minute-/dp/0140020551/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1334866610&sr=1-1

Remember GDA for men is 2500 calories in total and 2000 for women. That’s including drinks. That is if you’re not already exercising, and is for day-to-day.

For your info a bottle of wine has 500, just to put that into perspective and for those people who don’t eat a lot but go through a bottle or two of wine and wonder why they put on weight. All alcohol has a high sugar level due to the fermentation process.  Then you get things like WKD where they add sugar but that’s another story.

Eat at least 5 fruit and veg a day and aim for 2litres of liquid, make most of it water and orange juice.

That’s all for now, no more excuses!

Happy To Have A Job

I would be lying if I said I wasn’t happy, I’m bloody chuffed…. I think things are going in a positive direction now and the new job at Interweave IT Solutions in Letchworth is the best start to a new job I’ve ever had.

Obviously, it’s early days, but I have a good feeling about this. Let’s hope this continues. What’s the worst that can happen?

Thanks to Seasick Steve for the inspiration for the title, and to my friends who probably didn’t see me in the three and a half weeks I was out of a job.

P.S. Good luck all those hunting, those in IT feel free to drop me a line and I can assist with some tips etc.

Peace

MG TF Update 9 – Windscreen Washer feeder joint cracked [FIXED]

Cracked elbow joint

Cracked elbow joint

So, as can be seen, the elbow joint had cracked in the cold.

I’d initially thought that the nozzle was blocked, so took a needle to it but on opening the bonnet soon came to realise the issue when washer fluid had coated everything.

Luckily, after taking a quick look at the .org Forum, I found I didn’t need this elbow joint anyway and having removed it, found there was no longer an issue.

One can add heated washer jets (as fitted to later TF’s; read here: http://www.grumpy-monkeh.co.uk/guides.php?selection=Fitting%20heated%20washer%20jets) but I found these to be too expensive.

It has been noted that fitting Citroen jets give a better washer fluid distribution. These aren’t too expensive: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Rover-MG-MGTF-ZR-ZS-ZT-400-45-25-Xsara-Mist-Washer-Jets-/320591172815?clk_rvr_id=324930292787&afsrc=1

For now I shall see how long this ‘free’ mod will last.
