Following my recent medical ordeal, and frequent grumbles about small sports cars not being a very practical all year round car, I was on the hunt for something a little different. For a long time I was looking for a more modern Merc but to be honest it wasn’t really “me”…

I was scrolling through Twitter when I came across someone who was selling this Volvo. I hadn’t really heard much about them other than the Police Interceptors/motorway police used them as persuit cars due to them being fast (300HP) and practical (big boot, 5 seats) etc.

After some negotiation from hospital with Rich (@Joe_Hallenbeck) he agreed to drive the car to me and I became the proud new owner.
